CSCB’s Pre-Professional Division offers structured classical ballet training for motivated dancers who are ready to work toward a higher level of technique, artistry, and performance.
Students follow a progressive curriculum rooted in the Vaganova Method while gaining performance experience, completing examinations, and exploring opportunities in choreography and teaching.
Structured Classical Training
Students progress through a structured curriculum based on the Bolshoi Ballet Academy syllabus and rooted in the Vaganova method. The Pre-Professional Division expands upon this foundation through a set weekly training schedule, performance opportunities, examinations and individual mentorship.
Examinations & Certification
Eligible students prepare for and complete official examinations through Russian Ballet International, allowing them to document their progress and earn meaningful ballet credentials.
A Full Performance Season
Dancers bring their training to the stage throughout the year in Alice in Wonderland, The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, the Choreographic Workshop, and community performances.
Choreography & Leadership
Advanced dancers can create original choreography, assist with younger classes, and develop practical experience in communication, leadership, and teaching under the guidance of CSCB faculty.

Placement and required weekly classes are determined by each dancer’s age, experience, and current technical level.
