Competition & Pre-Professional Training Program
Studio Company & Studio Company II
The Studio Company at California School of Classical Ballet is CSCB's competition team, designed for dedicated dancers ages 7-18 who are on a pre-professional track. This invitation-only program offers an intensive curriculum that combines classical ballet training with advanced coaching in performance, artistry, and competition readiness.
All Studio Company members are required to be enrolled in our Pre-Professional Program, as we select our company members directly from this intensive training track.
Dancers selected for the Studio Company demonstrate exceptional commitment, technical strength, and artistic potential. In addition to preparing dancers for professional careers, the program offers valuable networking opportunities with schools and companies, as well as potential scholarships for intensives, training programs, and future study.

By combining elite Vaganova-based training with mentorship and real world opportunities, we ensure our dancers are prepared for successful careers in the dance world.
Two Levels of Studio Company
We offer two levels of our Studio Company to support dancers at every stage of their pre-professional journey:
Studio Company (Ages 8-18)
Studio Company competition team is designed for advanced dancers who are ready for high-level training, stage experience, and ballet competitions. This invitation only program emphasizes technical excellence, artistry, and professionalism, preparing dancers for a future in the performing arts.
Studio Company II (Ages 7-9)
We created Studio Company II to give younger dancers the opportunity to grow in a supportive, inspiring environment. This preparatory program helps students build confidence on stage, develop discipline, and begin cultivating artistry- all while ensuring that learning remains fun, age-appropriate, and encouraging.
Together, these programs form a comprehensive pipeline that nurtures talent from the earliest stages through to professional readiness.
