Etiquette & Regulations

  • CSCB places great emphasis on proper behavior and etiquette in all classes. We expect all students to behave respectfully towards their teachers and peers, to listen carefully and respond appropriately to instructions, and to maintain a positive attitude throughout their classes. By practicing good behavior and demonstrating professionalism, our students create a positive and productive learning environment that enhances their dance experience.

  • We ask that all students arrive on time and are ready to start class at the designated time. If a student is tardy, ballet etiquette requires them to stand in the doorway until the teacher invites them to join class.

  • If you miss a class, you can make it up in any other class of your level or below, or in any of the conditioning classes. Make-up classes must be made up within 30 days of the missed class to ensure that our students remain on track with their ballet education.
